LTC for Staff
Like you, the Learning and Teaching Commons (LTC) strives for academic excellence. Whether LTC is supporting you in pursuing educational excellence or helping you find resources for students, we both have the same goal in mind – an exceptional learning experience for NAIT students.
Digital Media and Technology (DM&T)
DM&T works with instructors and teaching specialists to determine how digital media can support both teaching and learning. The team creates video, imagery, applications, 3D animations and other Web tools to support student learning.
We provide excellent resources and services to supplement your instruction. Whether you need to book library classes for your students to help them find, use and cite the best resources for assignments, or you need research help for your own teaching or learning topics, we can help. Book an eLearning librarian to assist students with research in your Moodle courses. Send us your suggestions for resources to purchase for the collection. Plan to have materials your students need placed on Course Reserve. Discover which Open Education Resource (OERs), articles from journal databases, videos, streaming media, and loanable technologies are available for you to access. For all your instruction needs, see us at Library Services.
Learning Services staff work collaboratively with instructors and students to reduce barriers to learning. Students can access a variety of resources and services, such as learning strategy sessions, tutoring, supplemental learning, learning skills workshops, and more. Additionally, we provide individualized accommodations for disabled students, including alternate format course materials, assistive and adaptive technology, exam accommodations, captioning, and sign language interpretation. Visit the Learning Services webpage for more information.
