Pop Up Learning
You don’t need to be in a classroom to learn something new. Open to all students, Pop Up Learning sessions are held Thursdays in popular NAIT common areas.
Pop Up Learning sessions are designed to provide students with information on a diverse range of interesting topics in convenient locations around campus. Last year’s session topics included printing from your mobile device, how to appeal a grade, and guidelines for safe and responsible alcohol consumption.
“Since learning is provided in a public place, students who might not have had the opportunity, can learn something of value while eating their lunch or walking to class,” explains Sarah Walz, chair of NAIT’s Pop Up Learning committee.
Keep an eye on CAT200, the South Lobby, U210, and the fitness centre in S006 every Thursday from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. until the end of April and “pop” in if class is in session!
