Note: If your employer is paying your tuition or fees, you must fill out a Continuing Education Registration form and include it with the purchase requisition.
Please note: Continuing Education courses and programs (non-credit), with the exception of ESL and Academic Upgrading, are not open to international students who hold a Study Permit issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). However, students on a visitor visa (studying in courses or programs of 6 months or less) or on a work permit are eligible to take Continuing Education courses and programs.
International students in Alberta who hold a Study Permit are required by CIC to enrol in Designated Learning Programs. NAIT credit programs (degree, diploma and certificate programs), Academic Upgrading and the English as a Second Language (ESL) Program are considered as Designated Learning Programs under the CIC Study Permit program.
