Find your unique study path into NAIT!
Join program experts and fellow students for an evening designed to give prospective international students and English Language Learners an understanding of the many programs offered at NAIT. Our international experts will show you the application process, different pathways into NAIT and will discuss the study permit requirements and process.
Once you’ve seen what NAIT offers, you’ll be able to enroll into the English as a Second Language, Business Administration with English Training (BUSE) or Academic Upgrading (UPG) and other programs in time for Fall 2018!
Come prepared for a review of your foreign transcripts
NAIT Office of the Registrar will be available at this event to informally review your foreign high school and post-secondary transcripts. Once they review your transcripts, our International Academic Advisors can help you determine what you need to do next.
**Please note: Transcripts must be translated into English through a translation service. Please visit the NAIT International Admissions under Step 5. Prepare your documents” for more information.
If your or your family/friend is brining documents from overseas, they can be translated into English, using a translator who is official (has a stamp).
Students, or friends/families of students overseas who attend this event will receive a SINGLE-USE Free Foreign Document Assessment voucher valued at $75 CDN. To use this voucher, students must apply to NAIT’s credit programming (degree, diploma, certificate and Academic Upgrading programs) by April 4, 2018. This voucher has no monetary value, cannot be used towards other NAIT services, and is non-transferrable.
If you would like a representative (relative, friend, etc.) to be able to access information about your application at NAIT, you must complete the Disclosure of Personal Information – General Consent form and include it with your documents.
If you are a representative (relative, friend, etc.) attending on behalf of a student, you must come prepared with a completed Disclosure of Personal Information – General Consent form.
What to Bring - Documents checklist:
- Unofficial/Official transcripts
- Passport or Government Issued ID
- Disclosure of Personal Information Form (if applicable)
