About the Program
The Business Administration – Entrepreneurship and Innovation program is a 2-year diploma delivered over 4 semesters that run 16 weeks. This program has flexible learning options, including part-time studies and online courses.
There are 3 intakes—Fall, Winter and Spring—for first and second year students.
All Business Administration students must apply to Business Administration - Year 1 and enrol in common first year courses that provide a solid foundation in business skills and an overview of career possibilities related to JR Shaw School of Business programs.
Year 2 allows students to take a variety of core courses and electives that will build on Year 1 foundations and further develop skills essential to becoming a successful entrepreneur and businessperson.

Mawji Centre for New Venture and Student Entrepreneurship
Students of the JR Shaw School of Business have access to programs and events hosted through the Mawji Centre for New Venture and Student Entrepreneurship. The Mawji Centre enables all NAIT students to gain entrepreneurial skills from faculty advisors, mentors, alumni and industry in the discovery of new ideas, solutions, business through all industries and disciplines.
The JR Shaw School of Business has more than 100 full-time faculty members with diverse expertise, backgrounds and perspectives. Our instructors bring their industry experience to the classroom and are committed to teaching current, relevant skills and strategies that will allow graduates to enter the world of business with confidence, and give them the tools to succeed.
