Delivery Options

Classroom or Lab Setting

The first year of training is performed at NAIT's Main Campus in classrooms and fully equipped computer and electronics labs. The second year of the program is held at the Aviation Training Centre, where students work in a more industrial environment.

Work placements occur from May to August.

Length:
Placements are typically 17 weeks in length; however, 32-week placements are available with approval from the program.

Type of Experience:
The type of work placement will vary, though the work will be directly related to the field of avionics.

Wages are determined by the participating companies.
