Expenses
Forest Technology students should expect to spend:
Books and supplies:
Year 1
- $1,700.00 (including forestry work gear)
Year 2
- $800.00
- $150.00 (technology fee)
Field School:
Year 1
There is a mandatory technology fee of $700.00 plus GST per semester. This provides the student with:
- a laptop for the duration of study in NAIT's Forest Technology program
- wireless network access
- Helpdesk support for the laptop
- iPaq with GPS card and waterproof case
- instruction that incorporates laptops and iPaqs into the curriculum
- specialty software required for the program
