Forest Technology

Entrance Requirements

Applicants must have successfully completed:

• one of English 30-1 or English 30-2 (High School complete prior to 2003: English 30 or English 33) 
• one of  Pure Math 30 or Applied Math 30 (High School complete prior to 2001: Math 30 or Math 33)
• two of Biology 20, Chemistry 20 or Physics 20 with preference given to applicants with 30-level sciences

Non-academic Requirements

First Aid
A St. John's Ambulance Standard First Aid and CPR Heartsaver certificate are required for admission into this program.

Driver's Licence
An Alberta Class 5 driver's licence is highly recommended and is a requirement for most jobs in forestry.

Career Investigation

Completion of the Career Investigation is not compulsory for this program.
