As the Construction Technology Certificate (CSTN) transitions to the new Construction Estimating and Administrative Controls Certificate (CEAC), students can complete the existing Construction Technology Certificate until June 2018. After this time, any CSTN courses that have been completed within the past 7 years will be recognized under the new CEAC certificate.
To obtain a Construction Technology Certificate, students must complete the following.
- all core courses (or CEAC equivalents (pdf)), plus
- five elective courses
You may register in the courses in any sequence, as long as you meet all the prerequisites. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to request Prior Learning Recognition for previous education or work experience.
After you complete your courses, you must apply for your certificate by completing a Request for Certification form (pdf) and returning the completed form to email@example.com. Courses taken will not be listed on the certificate.
In addition to qualifying for the Construction Technology Certificate, the following courses are Gold Seal accredited by the Canadian Construction Association (CCA).
