Program Model / Completion Requirements

Theory and shop classes concentrate on safety practices related to all aspects of the trade; erecting and connecting steel, bench metal work, roofs, walls and finishing of pre-engineered metal buildings.


Also included is the safe and correct use of hand and power tools, oxy-fuel gas cutting and arc welding, rigging theory and practical exercises and blueprint reading.  Shop safety practices, personal protective equipment and fall arrest procedures are studied.  This gives the student a full understanding of the complexities and engineering involved in working with steel.

Method of payment
Fees may be paid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cash, Debit Card, Cheque, or by Purchase Order.

Refund policy
Total fees are due & payable at the time of enrollment. In all cases a minimum fee of $100 will be withheld should you cancel your enrollment prior to the first day of class. After classes start there will be no refund of fees.


Confirmation - notice of acceptence
A formal notice of acceptance will be mailed to the student and the employer within ten days of enrollment acceptance.
