Further Career Enhancement Courses

After obtaining a diploma in this program, graduates can apply to continue in Year 3 of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree at NAIT.

Advanced Credit Possibilities

Degree Options
NAIT offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree program for graduates of the two-year Marketing diploma program. Successful applicants can continue in the BBA with a Marketing emphasis. 
University credit transfer agreements with the University of Lethbridge (Edmonton, Calgary or Lethbridge campuses), Athabasca University, Concordia University College of Alberta (Edmonton) and the Open University in British Columbia specify that two years of credit will be recognized toward their Bachelor of Administration or Bachelor of Management degrees upon completion of any of the NAIT business diplomas. Some academic conditions, like GPA, will apply.

Advance Credit
Graduates of the Business Administration - Marketing program may also be granted advance credit toward:

  • Accredited Business Communicator (ABC),
  • Accredited Public Relations (APR),
  • Canadian Advertising Agency Practitioner (CAAP),
  • Chartered Marketer (CM),
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP),
  • Direct Marketing Certificate (DMC),
  • Electronic Marketing Certificate (EMC),
  • Certificate in Purchasing (PMAC),
  • Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM),
  • Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP),
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).


Graduates may also receive credit toward Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Investment Manager (CIM), Certified General Accountant (CGA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Fellow of the Credit Institute (FCI) and Payroll Management Certification Program (PMCP).
