We have successfully executed several applied research projects for NAIT's Prototype Development Program.

We are an institutional member of the following:

• GS1 Canada

NAIT is also a member of the Alberta Association of Colleges and Technical Institutes (AACTI), among other various associations. 

In addition, we are in the process of developing academic linkages with (i) Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), Mexico, (ii) the Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing  at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and (iii) the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India

The NAIT Shell Manufacturing Centre partners with Alberta Finance and Enterprise in advancing manufacturing.

The Business Link is a not-for-profit organization supported by the Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta. With offices in Edmonton and Calgary, it serves the needs of Alberta's entrepreneurs.

Community Futures Alberta is an organization supported by Western Economic Diversification serving needs of entrepreneurs, with 27 offices across rural Alberta.  

The Business Development Bank of Canada is a federal government financial institution that provides small and medium-sized businesses with financing, consulting services and venture capital.
