How to Register

There are three easy ways to register for distance learning:

  • Call the Registrar’s Office at 800.661.4077 (toll-free) or 780.471.6248 (local calling) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Mountain Time) Monday through Friday.
  • Register online. Choose your distance learning program, select Program Details, and then click the hypertext link for the course. Courses with online registration are denoted by a shopping cart icon.
  • Mail or fax (780.471.8490) the registration form to:

Important Information to Keep in Mind

Course Withdrawal and Refund Policy

  • Requests for a distance learning course withdrawal and/or refund must be received by NAIT Continuing Education in writing by letter or email (AskNAIT@nait.ca) within two weeks of materials issued.
  • All materials must be returned in resalable condition before any refund approval will be granted. With approval, the tuition fee less a $75.00 administration fee will be credited to the student’s account.


Course Transfer Policy

  • Space permitting, course transfer requests may be accommodated if made prior to the third scheduled class.
  • Any tuition difference and applicable transfer fees to be paid at the time of course transfer. Non payment of tuition difference and applicable transfer fees will result in registration cancellation.
  • Course transfers from one academic year to another cannot be granted.
