In addition to student loans and Alberta Works income programs and bursaries, there are a number of financial resources available for your post-secondary education. Be sure to investigate these other funding options.
NAIT is proud to offer students the opportunity to be recognized for their outstanding achievements. In addition to academic excellence, awards may be given for athletic program participation, extracurricular activities, leadership, involvement in the community or campus life, and financial need. Most awards are available to students who have completed their first year of studies and are enrolled in their second year. However, there are many entrance scholarships for students starting programs at NAIT for the first time and for students who are still in high school and considering their post-secondary options. Various types of awards are available, including scholarships, bursaries, awards, and prizes. Get more information at Scholarships & Bursaries.
If you do not qualify for government funding or the funds for which you are approved aren't enough, you may apply for a student line of credit from many major lending institutions. Please review Bank Student Line of Credit Options for Post-Secondary Students (67K pdf).
