Please provide official transcripts of all high school and post-secondary education you have completed to date. Applicants currently completing the courses required for admission must arrange to submit official transcripts upon completion. Please indicate your current course enrolment and provide a midterm mark. If a midterm mark is not available at this time, please note with an X. For programs starting in the Fall term, mid-term marks must be received by March 31. In the absence of mid-term marks, Grade 11 marks will be used in calculating the academic ranking for competitive selection. Final official transcripts for current courses are required by July 24 for acceptance to programs starting in the Fall term.
PLEASE NOTE:
Because many NAIT programs receive more applications than there are positions available, a Career Investigation Report is required. The Admissions Committee will use this document as part of the student selection process. You are advised to submit your Career Investigation Report at the time of application. A delay in receipt of this information could delay your acceptance, or result in non-acceptance.
Your career investigation report:
Your report should be no more than two pages in length, and should indicate the career investigation research you have done, the names and dates of your contacts, what information you obtained, an assessment of the advantages/disadvantages of the career, and/or details of related work experience that demonstrates you have made the right program choice. For help in completing this report, please consult the Full-Time Calendar, http://www.nait.ca/careers/default.htm, or see our page on preparing a career investigation.

Academic records consisting of quizzes, assignments and exams are personal records of the student and copies would normally be retained by NAIT for a period of at least one year after the mark has been assigned, unless NAIT has obtained consent of the student for a shorter retention period. In most programs, a number of quizzes, assignments and exams will be marked/graded and returned to the student for discussion. Copies will not be maintained by the Program area. Your signature on the Application for Admission form will constitute your consent, pursuant to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, for the Institute not to retain copies of those records after the originals have been returned to you.
