Message from the Dean Welcome to the School of Trades! The School of Trades offers training in 35 program areas leading to journeyperson certification, and certificate and diploma credentials. Our curriculum aligns with the knowledge and skills business and industry is looking for in our graduates and the demand for our students is high. Theoretical concepts learned in a classroom setting are reinforced by lab and shop activities with state-of-the-art equipment and training aids by highly qualified and dedicated faculty and staff. This provides students with an experience that simulates actual workplace situations, assisting with the school-to-work transition. Our instructors are certified, experienced and competent in their specific teaching disciplines and they are exceptional teachers and mentors. They provide a practical approach to learning through the application of the experiential learning model and focus on individual learner success. This practical hands-on approach to training prepares our graduates for rewarding careers globally. Our leadership team, academic staff and support group strive to ensure our students have a positive and rewarding learning experience.
