Refunds normally take between four to six weeks to process and are processed in the same manner in which the payment was made. In the case of Debit Card payments, the refund will be sent via cheque.
Any student terminated for disciplinary reasons shall be ineligible for a refund of fees.
Students who voluntarily withdraw before completing their program of study or reduce their total instructional hours shall receive a refund as indicated below.

Students who withdraw within 5 days from the start of an online course may qualify for a refund as determined by the Registrar's Office, if this withdrawal brings the student below a full time load.
Apprenticeship Programs
Total fees are due and payable at time of enrollment. In all cases a minimum fee of $100 will be witheld should you cancel your enrollment prior to the first day of class. After classes start there will be no refund of fees.
Should you change employers after registering for classes and no longer wish to attend training you, as the apprentice, are the only person able to cancel your trade (unless you’ve signed an authorization form permitting someone else to act on your behalf). As per the refund policy above you must do so before classes start and in all cases a minimum fee of $100 will be withheld.

Notwithstanding the above refund provisions, NAIT may determine the amount of refund for a student who can establish that he/she has been incorrectly enrolled in any program.
