Forestry students help feed the less fortunate

WHAT:    Students in NAIT’s Forest Technology program are using a portion of the money raised for their graduation celebration to provide a meal to the less
fortunate. The $1100 donation will feed up to 400 people within the inner-city this Friday night. The students will help prepare and serve the meal. The Mustard Seed asked for 10 to 15 student volunteers and there was a surplus of students wanting to pitch in.

WHERE:  The Mustard Seed
                  10635 96 Street Northwest
                  Edmonton, AB

WHEN:     Friday, Feb. 5, 2010  -  Meal Prep 4:30pm to 6:30pm

WHY:       This is a 100% student driven initiative. The students decided to try to make a difference in the lives of a few people who are struggling, instead of spending all their money on a
large social event.
