WHAT: Celebrity Chef David Adjey will be at NAIT for the week of March 15 to the 19 working with NAIT’s Culinary Arts students. It is part of the Hokanson Chef in Residence program which kicked off last year with a $1 million donation from John and Susan Hokanson. The Hokanson family set up the endowment to fund one-of-a-kind mentoring opportunities for our culinary students. NAIT wants to build on its world-class reputation by bringing in some of the top chefs in the world. The program kicked off last year with Chef Rob Feenie.

WHY: This is an opportunity to see Chef David Adjey in action as he passes on his expertise and shares his experiences with our students. Chef Adjey has excellent culinary credentials and is a colourful Food Network Canada star. He is a regular on “Restaurant Makeover” and will soon launch his new show on the network called “The Opener." He was a personal chef to actor Dan Aykroyd and has competed on Iron Chef America, where he tied his good friend from culinary school, Iron Chef Michael Symon in Battle Sturgeon.
