Students to get hands on with the latest oilfield equipment
Petroleum Engineering Technology Industry Day an opportunity for soon-to-be graduates to connect with employers
Students in NAIT’s Petroleum Engineering Technology program will get hands on with massive oilfield equipment at the 11th annual NAIT Petroleum Engineering Technology Industry Day. Dozens of companies will be on hand at the polytechnic for this year’s event, talking directly to students about career options and showcasing the latest technologies.
Graduates of the Petroleum Engineering Technology program start careers as production technologists in the exploration and production sectors of the conventional and unconventional (heavy oil, shale gas, etc.) oil and gas industries. Typical employers include oil and gas producers, oilfield service companies and regulatory agencies.
