NAIT international students to experience authentic Canadian Thanksgiving
More than 80 NAIT international students will gobble up turkey with all the fixings as they enjoy their first, traditional Canadian Thanksgiving dinner. The meal will be prepared by Culinary Arts students and served at Ernest’s, NAIT’s fine-dining restaurant.
In addition to learning about Canadian culture, the inaugural event has been designed to build camaraderie among the students, many of whom arrived in Canada just weeks ago. There are 1,500 international students at NAIT this year from 68 different countries.
