Canada is facing a shortage of skilled employees.

There is an ongoing demand for skilled workers as major projects continue across the province and country. However, the average Canadian skilled employee is over 50 years old, and many of these highly trained and experienced employees will retire over the next decade.

NAIT has solutions

As a leader in technical training and applied education, NAIT is the largest trainer of apprentices in both the province and the country: we train 46% of Alberta’s tradespeople and 17% nationally. It is expected that 250,000 apprentices and technicians will attend the institute during the next decade.
