Working in Canada

You need a work permit to work in Canada, unless you are a full-time student who is working on campus.

A work permit is a written authorization to work in Canada for someone who is not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada. It is usually only valid for a specified period of time.

How Can I Work on Campus?

You don't need a work permit to work on campus, as long as you are registered as a full-time student and have a valid study permit. You can only work at the school where you are registered.
