Everyone has a role to play in preventing the spread of influenza
NAIT’s Pandemic Plan (pdf) sets out how the institute will respond to the H1N1 influenza pandemic. The plan focuses on infection control. Everyone has responsibilities under the plan. Please familiarize yourself with what you can do to prevent the spread of influenza and your responsibilities under the Pandemic Plan.
All staff and students are encouraged to review their roles and responsibilities, as laid out in Appendix 5 of the plan and posted below. Please review the information sheet that pertains to you.
Business continuity planning
All managers, supervisors and instructors are required to develop Business Continuity Plans for their areas. Appendix 1 (pdf) of the Pandemic Plan is a revised template for use when developing these plans.
