Food Network superstar David Adjey, "The Rock Star Chef," came to NAIT March 15-19, 2010 as the Hokanson Chef in Residence.
Adjey shared his personal journey with NAIT's culinary students, from his training at the Culinary Institute of America to earning worldwide culinary success, combined with kitchen skills, anecdotes, and a rare look at what it takes to be a successful chef.
David has worked closely with hundreds of young aspiring chefs, getting to know what they value and how to motivate them. "Listen to them, on their terms,” he advises. “Solicit their advice, add creative elements, involve them in collaboration. When you give them the acknowledgement they need, they will excel at their jobs.”
The School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts is pleased to welcome this famous chef and cookbook author to NAIT.
