NAIT's JR Shaw School of Business (JRSSB) has earned a solid reputation since its inception in 1972. Employers recognize the skills our graduates have to offer, so our grads get jobs – more than 90% are employed shortly after graduation. NAIT grads also start more businesses in the 5 years after completion than university graduates.

Our faculty

We have more than 100 full-time faculty members with qualifications ranging from PhDs to professional designations like CA (Chartered Accountant). Most hold multiple degrees and designations, and all bring industry experience to the classroom. Learn more about our faculty.

Did you know?

• NAIT has been offering business administration training since 1963. Fifty students were enrolled in the first year of the program.
• JRSSB is now one of the largest business schools in Western Canada, with more than 2,000 full-time and 12,000 part-time students each year.
• In spring 2007, the NAIT School of Business was renamed the JR Shaw School of Business in honour of Canadian business leader JR Shaw.
