At the JR Shaw School of Business, we offer hands on and relevant business education for the real world to help students succeed as future business leaders.

To meet the diverse needs of our students and the community in which they live and work, the JR Shaw School of Business offers a variety of programs including a one year certificate, a series of two year business diplomas, two applied degrees, and a four year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree.

The depth of business education our students experience is extraordinary, regardless of which program they choose to enter. Every course a student takes at the JR Shaw School of Business provides them with the business knowledge, skills, and understanding they will need to succeed in their chosen career path.

Many of our program offerings provide students with exemptions and/or prerequisites toward a number of professional designations. Our BBA degree has also been recognized by CASB (CA School of Business), CMA Alberta, CGA Alberta, Canadian Institute of Management, Financial Planning Standards Council, and Human Resources Institute of Alberta as a degree that meets their respective professional program requirements.  

These programs are supported by over 100 full time faculty with an average of over 13 years of industry experience and a range of qualifications including professional designations (e.g., CA, CIM, CHRP, CFP) and advanced degrees (e.g., MA, MBA, PhD).
