Adventurous diners will enjoy the unique dishes served at the Sorrentino's Chef's Table. A special seasonal menu, complete with wine pairing, is created for each Chef's Table reservation. Because menus are specially designed, reservations should be made 3-4 weeks in advance. The Chef's Table seats up to 10 people.
Ernest's is well-known for its Friday Student Showcase Lunch Buffet. The buffet features a wide variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts, and always sells out well in advance. Reserve early to take advantage of this popular event.
The experience
Customers dine in understated elegance, surrounded by cherry wood with brass highlights. They are served by Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts students who are refining their customer service skills. Professional mentors work with students, emphasizing etiquette and authenticity.

History
NAIT's dining room has been an integral part of the School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts since 1963. It provides Culinary Arts students with critical real-world skills while providing Edmontonians with a first-rate dining experience.
In 2005, the dining room was renovated as part of the new Hokanson Centre for the Culinary Arts. Renamed Ernest's, in honour of the father of principal benefactor John Hokanson, the decor has changed, but the quality remains the same.
