Get more out of your business education with a baccalaureate or applied degree from the JR Shaw School of Business. Many professional associations require a degree before they grant a designation. That’s why a business degree is a great way to further your career potential.
All degrees are 4-year programs. NAIT Business diploma graduates can enter the 3rd year of the business degree programs.
A JR Shaw School of Business' Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) provides more than just an in-depth business education. BBA students are trained to use and manage leading software applications and processes that enhance business productivity.
BBA graduates also meet the entrance requirements for a range of graduate programs in business, law and the social sciences.
NAIT's BBA degree can be taken full-time, part-time and online. We offer day and evening classes.
Accreditation and Industry Certification
The BBA is accredited by Alberta Advanced Education and approved by the Campus Alberta Quality Council. Many courses in the BBA curriculum are accepted as exemptions or pre-requisites in professional accounting, finance and human resource management credential programs such as CPA, CFA, CFP, CSC, PRM and LLQP.
The BBA management emphasis is accredited by the Canadian Institute of Management. The BBA finance emphasis is accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program. This status is granted to institutions whose degree programs incorporate at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK), which provides students with a solid grounding in the CBOK and positions them well to sit for the CFA exams. The CFA program our BBA finance emphasis offers is the only university recognized program among polytechnics in Canada.
