The Hospitality Management program prepares students for a career in one of Canada's fastest-growing industries. The program provides training in service skills for food and beverage, catering and front desk operations.
Students in the Hospitality Management program can complete a one-year certificate, or continue on to a two-year diploma. Students who complete the Hospitality Management Diploma can receive credit towards degree programs at a number of universities.
The Culinary Arts program is the cornerstone of the School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts. It provides current, relevant training in cooking fundamentals, as well as principles of gastronomy and culinary management.
Students in the Culinary Arts program can complete a one-year certificate, or continue on to a two-year diploma. Students who complete the Culinary Arts Diploma can also write the journeyman cook exam.
Students can start the Culinary Arts program in September or January.
The Baking Certificate is a one-year program that provides training in traditional and contemporary baking methods. Students who complete the Baking Certificate can also write the journeyman baker exam.
The Retail Meatcutting Certificate is an intensive 5-month program that emphasizes both technical and customer service skills.
The Retail Meatcutting program is offered twice a year, in late August and in January.
