Culinary Team NAIT has returned from the 2012 IKA World Culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany, with two gold and two silver medals. The Culinary Olympics is the world’s largest exhibition of culinary arts. The team’s four members – second-year students in NAIT’s Culinary Arts program - each captured medals, beating out professional chefs from around the world.
2012 Emirates Salon Culinaire – Dubai
Members of Culinary Team NAIT won seven medals at Emirates Salon Culinaire, which ran Feb. 19-22 in Dubai. This prominent competition had more than 1300 young chefs from across the world participating.
HOFEX 2011 – Hong Kong
Members of Culinary Team NAIT returned to Edmonton with four silver and six bronze medals following a sweep at a prestigious Culinary competition in Hong Kong. The medals were won at HOFEX 2011. View photos of the team's experience in Hong Kong.

Award-winning dishes from Escoffier Culinary Salon
Culinary Team NAIT won four gold and three silver medals - every team member cam home with a medal - at the Escoffier Society Culinary Competition, held in Toronto in March 2010. Culinary Team NAIT won 5 medals at the 2008 Culinary Olympics in Erfut, Germany. Team NAIT was competing against dozens of chefs from around the world, most of which have years of experience on Team NAIT. The Culinary Olympics is the most prestigious culinary competition in the world.
