What are you going to do with your good idea? The novaNAIT Technology Commercialization Challenge can help you take it to the next level.
Innovators and Entrepreneurs now have a great opportunity to get the most out of their ideas and win up to $10,000 in novaNAIT services - including prototype development.
The novaNAIT Centre for Applied Research and Technology Transfer has made it possible for residents and businesses in and around Edmonton to pitch their technology, product or business ideas to a panel of judges.
The panel is made up of representatives from novaNAIT, industry and the financial community.
Director of novaNAIT, Stuart Cullum, says the novaNAIT challenge will provide a significant boost to an early stage idea that has commercial potential coming in.
“The commercialization pathway requires different levels of assistance at different times. The right kind of assistance early on can do a lot to bring an idea to the next level.
“NovaNAIT is positioned to provide direction and assistance for early stage ideas and the novaNAIT Challenge is one mechanism by which we are trying to fulfill its mandate,” he says.
Already, the contest is being promoted in the latest issue of techlife magazine. All eligible candidates are being encouraged to start wheeling out their ideas and prepare them for entry before the contest’s November 24 deadline.
