Faculty of Undergraduate Studies
Prospective Students
Your Time. Your Place. Your Success.
You can complete Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses in the traditional face-to-face classroom setting during the day, evening or weekends. Or, you can complete courses online using the latest synchronous and asynchronous technologies. The choice is yours!
Although the traditional classroom setting is a preferable learning environment for some students, competing demands on your time, along with the personal and financial costs of commuting to class, can make pursuing an education in the classroom a challenge. Online learning may be the answer.
Although traditional correspondence learning can feel isolating, NAIT's online learning courses are cohort-based, structured, and are actively facilitated by an experienced online instructor. The online courses are at the same rigour and may take as much (or more...) of your time than the traditional classroom course; however each online course engages you in the learning and encourages success through the development of a community of learners, and is delivered with the flexibility you need to be successful. Feel connected. Join our online community of learners.
In both our online and face-to-face courses professional instructors, with the academic credentials and industry experience needed to help you succeed, delivery much of the content and facilitate the learning process. Your instructor is actively engaged in the course and is only a phone call, email, IM chat, or discussion posting away when you need assistance. Whether your education is delivered online or in a traditional face-to-face classroom, your instructor is there to encourage your success.
Please Note: Certain online courses require scheduled invigilated examinations as part of the assessment strategy. If you have a question regarding the assessments in a specific course, please contact us.
NAIT uses Moodle 2.0 as our primary Learning Management System for online delivery of courses. The NAIT Moodle site can be accessed through http://moodle.nait.ca/
We also utilize Elluminate as our synchronous webinar tool.
