Applied Research and Faculty
At the School of Health and Life Sciences, it’s not enough to just provide students with the best health training possible – our engaged faculty is committed to making that training even better through practical curriculum and a dedication to lifelong learning and applied research.
The faculty in the School of Health and Life Sciences bring a wealth of practical experience to the classroom. With an average of 10 years of clinical experience, and many instructors continuing to practice in the field part-time, our faculty do more than just teach theory – they bring it to life with real-world experience.
The School of Health and Life Sciences is honoured to have many guest lecturers in our programs. Guest speakers range from alumni and colleagues working in specialty fields, to representatives from the professional associations, to colleagues working with new and emerging technology and equipment.
These individuals support our programs by donating their time to lecture to our students in the specialty areas in which they work. Many sit on our program advisory committees, and also hire NAIT graduates. Their continued support enables NAIT to provide a well-rounded education for our students and strong futures for our graduates.
