Open Studies is a convenient option for studying a range of business and technology courses at your own pace, to meet your own education goals.

  • Are you interested in earning a diploma or degree but would like to try a few courses before making a commitment?
  • Are you missing one or more courses needed to finish your certificate, diploma, degree, or professional designation from NAIT or any other post-secondary education institution?
  • Do you need to earn professional development credits?
  • Or, perhaps you simply want to learn more about a particular subject area for general interest.

Through our Open Studies option, you can enroll in day, evening, or online credit courses without committing to enrollment in the program. A wide range of courses are available (see below) with various start dates throughout the year.

If required, once enrolled you are provided support and advice regarding how to achieve your educational objectives. This may be of special benefit to students whose eventual goal is to earn a NAIT Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management (BTech) degree. With our guidance, you may take additional courses and/or apply for admission to either the BBA or BTech degree at a later date.
