We believe the best way to learn about the boreal forest is to see, hear and experience. Through our array of field trips, study activities and participatory events, students and the public at large have many wonderful opportunities to reinforce their awareness of Alberta’s boreal resources.
The Boreal Education Program has built a legacy of programs that offer a chance to do so, as well as links with other forest awareness organizations. These include Alberta Forest Week, a program of the Alberta government, and Envirothon, developed by Canon.
