Project Leadership Certificate
Many projects or project teams suffer from a lack of people skills, including leadership. Build your leadership and people skills in this interactive program. Learn to manage meetings effectively, identify communication barriers, form successful teams, apply appropriate leadership and conflict management strategies, use project management software and much more. The Project Leadership Certificate forms the foundational portion of the Project Management Certificate (PMC) and Six Sigma (Green Belt) Certificate.
Project Management Certificate (PMC)
Project managers are responsible, communicative leaders who must ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and to all stakeholders’ satisfaction. Project managers must simultaneously apply appropriate soft skills to gain their teams’ trust and commitment, and hard technical skills to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close out projects effectively.
NAIT is a PMI-accredited Global Registered Education Provider (REP). Graduates of the Project Management Certificate are well positioned to achieve certification as Project Management Professionals (PMP). The PMC program is also transferable to degree programs.
Note: Requires completion of the Project Leadership certificate modules (PMC 101 to 106).
NAIT is a Project Management Institute (PMI) approved Global Registered Education Provider (REP). Earn 14 professional development units per 2-day PMC module toward certification through PMI.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Preparation
To become certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP), students must pass the PMP exam and accumulate the required hours of project management experience. PMP certification is one of the most respected credentials in project management. There are two additional course modules focusing on "The Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge" that can be taken independently or following the completion of NAIT's PMC required modules. Participants are required to register in both modules.
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) Certificate
Learn to measure and improve your company’s operational performance. Gain a practical understanding not only of the Six Sigma approach within a project management context, but also of DMAIC, an ordered plan for resolving problems: define, measure, analyze, improve and control. By implementing the various tools and methods discussed in this program, you can ensure the efficient use of resources in your workplace projects and apply the right tools at the right time.
Note: Requires completion of the Project Leadership certificate modules (PMC 101 to 106).
