Communication
Communication is the life-blood of leaders. Deciding how you create and deliver a message requires making decisions that affect its success. With new technology comes many new channels of communication. Are these used correctly? Could they bring more problems than benefits? Communication starts with knowing your audience and this workshop will focus on both verbal and written communication.
Change Management
I All organizations go through change and a leader's role is to manage that change. This workshop will draw upon both established and contemporary models of change management and will provide an introduction to the knowledge and skills necessary for building a change ready organization.
Leadership Philosophy and Style
Understanding what leadership is and how we choose the best leadership behaviours to motivate, support and engage our followers is fundamental to organizational success. This workshop introduces and refines the philosophy of leadership and the styles leaders use.

You will also practice working with active and passive sentences to improve your writing style.

You will also practice applying the principles of capitalization and number style in everyday situations.
Writing Workshop III (Plain English Principles)
In this half-day workshop, you will learn strategies that professional writers use to clear away clutter from their messages. Topics include effective word choice, positive vs. negative language, logical sequencing of ideas, and correct use of numbered and bulleted lists. You will also practice spotting and correcting some common errors in sentence logic.
Writing Workshop IV (Letters, Memos, and E-mail)
How effective are the messages you write at work? Do they make you look competent and professional? Do they produce the desired results?
