About the Program
This program prepares students for a career in photography by providing a comprehensive technical curriculum emphasizing digital image capture and processing. Students are required to purchase a digital camera permitting professional work. Recognizing that it is important to plan finances well in advance, we recommend a budget of $2500.00 specifically for the camera. The program promotes a practical, hands-on approach to learning, supported by appropriate theory. Students are given the opportunity to interact with industry professionals through guest lectures, seminars, assignment critiques, studio visits, field trips, work experience practicums and participation in professional association activities.
