About the Program
The Bachelor of Applied Business Administration – Finance is a post-diploma applied degree. This degree offers graduates of eligible diploma programs the opportunity to develop the combination of advanced financial expertise and management skills needed in the expanding and demanding field of financial services. As well, the program assesses individual international educational credentials for entry into this degree.
Following completion of a 2-year diploma, students will complete an additional 2 levels (4 terms) of studies to obtain a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration – Finance degree. The program begins with Level 3 of 2 consecutive academic terms and ends with Level 4 of Field Studies in Finance I & II – DFST terms. DFST (Level 4) is taken via online education while the student is employed.

In Level 4, the Field Studies in Finance I & II (DFST4450 & 4455) are 4 months each. During Level 4 of DFST, the student must also be employed on a full-time basis in a paid finance-related job. The student is responsible, with advice from the program and NAIT Student Recruitment, for procuring employment in the finance field during these terms.
