Just like business and industry, NAIT is always evolving – in fact, it’s been a work in progress since planning for the campus began in 1959. Campus Development
Planning for NAIT began in the late 1950s as part of a joint federal-provincial initiative. NAIT has expanded steadily since then to meet the demand for educated, skilled and successful workers.
Programs
From the beginning, NAIT has focused on teaching students the skills that employers want and need. As Alberta’s economy has grown and changed, NAIT’s programs have evolved along with it.
