Application Fees for Credit Programs & Courses
Applicants are charged a $115.00 non-refundable application fee. For this fee you can apply for up to 2 programs on the same application by making a first and second choice. If you want to apply for more than 2 programs, or if you choose to add a second choice after you've already submitted your application, you will be required to pay the application fee a second time.
Foreign Document Assessment Fee
Applicants submitting Out of Country transcripts requiring analysis and comparison to provincial standards will be charged a $75 assessment fee. This assessment may be required If you're an international student planning to attend NAIT on a student visa, or as an internationally educated permanent resident or Canadian citizen. You can also have school documents assessed by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or World Education Services (WES) before submitting your application.
Please note: if the $75 assessment fee is not paid by the due date indicated on your My NAIT portal, your application will be cancelled.
How it works
Our International Admissions Team will prepare an assessment of your documents within 4 weeks of receiving your payment and attach the assessment to your NAIT student file. This document will be used to evaluate your admissibility to the credit program or course you've applied to. This document is not valid for admissions to other post-secondary institutions.
