Campaign Cabinet Message
Message from the Campaign Cabinet
NAIT is essential to Alberta. Your support will help us achieve our vision to be the most relevant and responsive post-secondary institution in Canada and one of the world’s leading polytechnics.
These are exciting times in our province. Our graduates are part of the growth we see everywhere we look—in our schools, in our cities and in many of the businesses and industries that underpin our social and economic well-being.
The demand for our graduates has never been higher. The impact of NAIT on the productivity and prosperity of Alberta has never been greater.
Essential: The NAIT Campaign builds on deep and meaningful relationships. Our goal is to raise $100 million by 2018 to support student success, applied research and the construction of the Centre for Applied Technology, the largest capital project in NAIT’s 50-year plus history.
We’re well on our way, thanks to corporate and individual donors who know the value of NAIT’s hands-on, technology-based education, including
- Daniel Yeung, whose philanthropic support of dental laboratory technology students is exemplary.
- Arnold and Grace Rumbold, who believe women should have opportunities to succeed in the trades.
- Cenovus, a company committed to seeing aboriginal youth build leadership skills and foster a commitment to education.
- Dow Canada, an industry leader that backs two of NAIT’s most in-demand programs, Power Engineering Technology and Chemical Engineering Technology.
We’re grateful for their support and we are confident that you understand why supporting NAIT is an important investment. Your support enables our students to fulfil their educational goals. Your support furthers NAIT’s applied research and, by extension, the province’s economic goals.
With your help, we will continue to be a leading polytechnic essential to meeting the workforce and economic challenges of the 21st century. And we look forward to accomplishing this together, by strengthening our relationships with alumni, friends and corporations.
NAIT truly is essential to Alberta and your contribution is essential to NAIT.
