International and Newcomer Student Orientation
Dear international students,
Your first semester at NAIT will begin soon and you must have many questions about student life at NAIT. The Fall New Student Orientation (NSO) will be taking place on August 28th, 29th, and 30th of 2018. International students who registered for NSO will be receiving a presentation with essential information for your transition to NAIT in the International Homeroom (Room # - CAT 191). Registration to attend this orientation will open mid-July. ALL new students at NAIT will use the same online NSO registration form to sign up.
At this orientation, you will be able to:
- Gain awareness of different services at NAIT
- Learn important information about Study Permits and working in Canada.
- Learn about how to secure Health Care, Banking and Mobile Services
- Get to know your International Student Advisors and the International Centre
- Develop relationships with Peer Mentors and other students
- Learn about upcoming events, volunteering and opportunities to be engaged at NAIT
We are looking forward to meeting you soon!
