NAIT is a fully accredited post-secondary institute operating under the auspices of the Post-Secondary Learning Act, Government of Alberta, Advanced Education.
NAIT uses the Alpha Grading System on a 4.0 scale (effective July 2004). You are assigned a final letter grade when you complete a course. The grading chart relates each letter grade to its corresponding grade point value. NAIT’s Office of the Registrar uses our grading system when assessing outside transcripts reflecting letter grades.
Please note: if a transcript using an Alpha Grading System is submitted from another educational institution, NAIT will award the average percentage that coincides with the Letter Grade, eg., A+ would be given 95%.
For more information please refer to NAIT's Grading Procedure.
