Learning Strategists are available for free to students on NAIT’s Main, Souch, and Patricia campuses. One-to-one strategy sessions are available for students on an appointment or drop-in basis.
Using a strengths based approach, our strategists collaborate with students to develop strategies that meet individual academic needs. This can be in any area of learning! Common topics include; time management, organization, note-taking, memory, focus and concentration, exam preparation and writing, reading for understanding, and study strategies for all subjects. Contact 780.378.6135 to discuss appointment options on all campuses.
-Access drop-in strategy sessions on Main campus - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:15 am-1:15 pm in room V228.
If you need extra support with your course material, Tutorial Services can help. Whether you want tutoring in-person or online, our professional tutors are here for you.
View our NEW and improved NAIT Tutor Registry and connect with a tutor who specializes in your subject. The registry has tutors who are students, professionals from the community, and NAIT instructors.
Supplemental Learning (SL) is a program in which we support some of NAIT's most challenging courses. Our SL Leaders are students who have previously taken and succeeded in these courses. SL Leaders run weekly peer-facilitated review sessions throughout the semester to help students develop their understanding of the course materials and their academic skills in relation to the course.
