Help With Your Learning
Learning Services offers the following supports to enhance the learning experiences of all NAIT students.
For a snapshot of ALL of the learning support services available through the Learning and Teaching Commons (LTC), take a look at our "Referral Handouts" which summarize everything LTC has to offer students. We have one for Main Campus, Souch Campus, and Patricia Campus.
One-to-one strategy sessions are available for students on an appointment or drop-in basis. Common topics include: time management, organization, note-taking, memory, focus and concentration, exam preparation and writing, reading for understanding, and study strategies for all subjects.
If you need extra support with math, physics, chemistry, stats, or writing, our free professional tutors are here for you. Upload a paper or assignment through our free online writing tutoring service WriteOn. You can also use the NAIT Tutor Registry to connect with tutors for hire who specialize in your subject.
Supplemental Learning (SL) is a program in which we support some of NAIT's most challenging courses. SL Leaders run weekly peer-facilitated review sessions throughout the semester.
