Once again, the 109th street challenge involving students of MacEwan and NAIT will come down to the last meeting of the year.
Heading to a women's hockey game at NAIT on Feb. 19, the Ooks and their supporters have a narrow lead: 4,084 points to 3,908.
NAIT's 3-2 overtime victory on Saturday provided 250 points but MacEwan earned 126 points for attendance, coimpared with 72 for NAIT.
The Griffins had a 20-point lead after Friday's 4-1 NAIT triumph on the ice but NAIT now leads by 176 points.
