Shane was a force this weekend for the NAIT Ooks leading the team to a pair of victories over the Lakeland Rustlers. Cox scored an amazing 50 points in the two games on the weekend including going 7 for 13 from three point land. "Cox has started to embellish the leadership role and will this team towards success," said Head Coach Don Phillips. "we feel privileged to have him as a student-athlete here at NAIT. " Shane is a 4th year player from Brampton, Ontario and is in his first year of the HVAC program at NAIT.

Rosalina Hicks, Basketball
Rosalina's stellar play on the weekend helped lead the Ooks basketball team to a split this past weekend against the Lakeland Rustlers. Hicks averaged 14 points, 3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2 steals in the two games this weekend including scoring 17 points in the Ooks 88-76 win at Lakeland Saturday night. "Rosie's play was instrumental in our team getting a split this weekend," said head coach Curtis Nelson. "She has emerged as a leader on our team." Rosalina is a 2nd year Personal Fitness training student from Edmonton.
