Weekly Happenings
Well, it’s time yet again for an update on the ongoings of what is my life…this past week has been a little bit hectic for me, as I have two people staying at my pad for the next little bit. Aside from it being a little crowded, it’s kind of nice to havesome company for a change;sinceMay, I’ve been living solo…no complaints in that regard, butit’s nice to havesomeone to chat with here and there. School has been quite interesting so far, this year we are really delving into material that is directly related to my field of study…luckily, not too too much homework yet, though I am sure that will change in relatively short order. This weekend I rounded up a bunch of friends and went go-karting down at Whitemud Amusements on 75th street and Whitemud;we had a fantastic time! They areopen untilOctober 10th, so if you want to have some good clean fun at a reasonable price, I’d recommend you roundup some of your friends and give it a shot! Word to the wise though,bring some safety glasses – the kartscan kick up a fair bit of dust andeventhrowgravel. There’s a fairamount of exciting stuff on my horizon this week…Wednesday is my orientation for the Board of Governors,Friday I’m going paintballing, and SaturdayI’mgoing quadding for my friend’s birthday. I’m going to try to enjoy what little bit of nice weather is left this year…I’d suggest you do the same!
