Friday the 13th pt. 2
Well well,
How often do you see a Friday the 13th appear in 2 consecutive months? I suppose that’s a bit of a rhetorical question, as I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen it happen. Luckily I’m not superstitious, else I’d be boarding up my doors and windows today….you never know though, Jason Voorhees might just stop by to say hello!
This week has been pretty tame, semester 4 seems to be ending with a bit of a whimper. I wrote a Project Management midterm yesterday, I totally aced it. Like school, my job at the curling club is starting to wind down too…I have a couple shifts left, then I’m officially unemployed. I’m hoping this job lead I got for Rexall Place bears fruit, would be nice to get to take in concerts and hockey games for free! My new tutoring job has been fairly quiet as well, the student I am tutoring wrote his midterm last week, and got over 90%! I’m very proud of him.
I’ve been fighting a bit of the winter blues this week, the recent cold weather has got me down in the dumps a bit. I’m thinking it might be time to have a party to commemmorate the end of winter…it’s been a while since I threw a party! More on that later…
There is a little to look forward to next week, next Tuesday is St. Patrick’s Day! I’m thinking I’ll be slugging back a green beer or two for that! I heard something about them doing something at the Nest, I might go check that out!
